Exercise sheets will be provided on March 13, need to be handed in before March 20 13:00, and will be reviewed March 23.
The tutor will be available in the afternoons for questions to lecture and exercises.

Course content (short summary):
Galaxy formation; galaxy types over cosmic time; matter cycle and stellar populations; galaxy structure and internal dynamics; environments and their galaxy content; dwarf galaxies; active galaxies.

Knowledge of the introductory astronomy lectures (MVAstro0 or WPAstro).
