This is a Master Seminar on 'Great Debates in Galaxy Evolution'.Each student will choose a topic from a list of proposed topics featuring a 'great debate' around an open question (and possible solutions) in the field of galaxy evolution. Each of the students will prepare a 45 minute talk on the chosen topic (with slides and in English). After the talk, the class will participate in a scientific discussion and we will all provide constructive feedback in relation to both the style and content of the presentation.

Grading (required for credits): seminar presentation, 90% attendance, final report
